Thanks for the quick reply! I LOVE your blogs, especially your new one about Provo. If we all could be in love with our towns and see them through your eyes.

I love the dresses. They just don't make such awesome dresses anymore. And if they do they're crazy expensive. Thrifting is the way to go.

Not much to add about those pretty dresses, but I just wanted to tell you that I think you're a lovely, lovely woman--inside and out!

Thanks for replying about that sweet dress you wore to the gala.... wouldn't that just be darling if it were a longer tuni? Gasp... me heart, it aches for one now.

Maybe I can make one!?!

i love your clothes. you have such luck in finding retro dresses that fit. you look beautiful. and is it ok to even say you look sexy? you do. you have such a flair for fashion. it all works for you.

last spring macy's had a collection of dresses that had the "retro" look to them. i bought one of each and i love them.

being the shoe hound that i am, i really want to know what shoes you are wearing with the red and white dress.

in august i will be visiting my oldest son in nyc. he lives in brookly righ across from prospect park and there is a wonderful vintage store there that i love. after seeing your dresses i can hardly wait to shop there :)

I guess I need to either be older - or younger - because what everyone calls "vintage" now is stuff I actually used to wear - and as such just makes me think that I'm not young anymore!!

My mom used to say the same thing when I commented on how I loved the 40's look!

Hmm - what does that say??

Just came here from the real (original?) cjane blog. You are such a celeb cjane! Everyone wants to be you!!! (I don't think anyone could doubt that the professional narssicsism is working for you. I don't see you selling Avon any time soon.)

Just wanted to leave a hint about op-shopping dresses. It pays to pop in to your fav op-shops each week to check out what's new. Finding cute dresses takes dedication. My girls get more compliments for op-shop clothes than any others. I think it's the ooak-ness (one of a kind - ness) of them that is so appealing.

Okay - I'm not sure if I'm commenting in the right place or not - I'm confused as to these things - technically challenged sadly - but I want you to know that I think it crazy that you are worrying so much what everyone thinks of you - what they have to say - etc etc - (from your other blog) and just wanted to add my two cents to their -2 cents. I think you are a shining example of our religion - and you make me proud. I wish you were my family to boot!! :) (but not really cuz I really would miss my little disfunctionaly family).

Anyway -

...on a side note - if you're looking for a piano teacher - remember me - from the park???

I just dicovered this blog - I didn't know you had another one, but I'm so glad you do! I just sent Nie Nie an e-mail this weekend asking her where she gets her fabulous style from and the inspiration from all of the color you guys wear - I just love it! I'm just starting to read this blog, but have you ever answered that one?
